Welcome to my topic about Cat Furniture! I wanted to create this topic to talk to others about the best cat furniture for your cat or kitten. From types of furniture to to the best merchants to purchase from. I have several different types cat beds, cat trees, scratching posts and more. From my own personal experiences to the must haves in cat furniture.

MY VERY FIRST CAT BED!! My kitty Milo was not very happy with his bowl bed, I could tell by the look on his face:) and I knew I needed to get him something decent, because it was either the bowl or my belly.

I decided to get him something special for the holidays so I did some searching and found a bunch of different types of beds for cats.

I f you ever had an issue with cat hair getting places you dont want such as the bed or couch you need a bed for your cat or kitten as this will help with the hair everywhere problem and your guest wont worry about getting hair all over there clothes and you wont worry about rolling around a bed full of cat hair, unless your into that sort of thing!!

Scratching posts are a wonderful addition for your cat . If you want your cat to stop messing up all your expensive furniture then you need a cat scratching post.

Also, it is much better to get a scratching post then to have cat or kitten de-clawed as claws are essential part of your cats health. De-clawing also makes your cat defenseless against other animals.

The truth is cats and kittens need to scratch there claws because its an important part of there lives. So do the best thing and get a scratching post and train your kitten to use it early on and he will use it always!

OK, now the real fun can begin! Is your cat bored from doing nothing and laying around all day?

Give your precious cat a cat tree or a cat condo to play on. It is important to provide your cats with with enough exercise throughout there lifetime to give them longevity and health.

Cats that do not get much activity in the day are more likely to develop disorders and disease, from Arthritis to Obesity! In addition to adding years to your cats life your cats will be HAPPY!

Remember, a healthy cat is a happy cat

This is one of the best types of cat furniture you can get. Cat trees and cat condos are similar in that condos have compartments for your cat to hide or sleep in and trees are mostly all open air with no enclosures.

The best thing about these is that you can get so many different variations with combination’s that include scratching posts, beds, rooms in all types of material in all shapes and sizes for one or multiple cats.

If you ever wanted to take your kitty for a walk in the park or a stroll in town you would have to carry or use a leash, both are not very practical. Use a Stroller! My kittens love this and I never used to take them anywhere except to the vet and back and they always knew it too!

Cat strollers are great because I take my kitties out all the time now to the park and let them see beyond the walls inside the house. They interact with the environment and with each other with a new spark! Also the cat stroller keeps them away from and protects them against not so friendly animals and other hazards.

Cat stairs help out fat or cats with medical problems get to places like the bed and the couch, if it hurts to much to jump cat stairs are a great way to help your sick or injured cats to places they need to go.

It is important when buying cat furniture to buy quality from a reputable source. My first purchase of a cat condo I had bought from Wal-Mart broke after 2 months of use.

The carpet on it was very cheaply made and came off as well as the scratching post material that unraveled around the same.
Because it was made in China explains a lot, and I did not want anything to happen to my kittens like a piece falling off and injuring them.

I went looking online and found Spoil My Kitty that focuses on pet furniture only, its more pricey than the other sellers but well worth it. I have had the same cat tree from them for over a year now and (except for the scratching parts that is a little worn) it still look new. Also Amazon is a good retailer, I always read the reviews on cat furniture and I know all I need to know.
